Syracuse women’s basketball will play three games in San Juan, Puerto Rico, from Nov. 25-27 as part of the Discover Puerto Rico Shootout, the team announced Friday. It’ll be the program’s first trip to Puerto Rico since 2012, when it participated in the same event.
The Orange face three opponents across the three days. They open the slate against Southern University before taking on Wisconsin and Auburn the following two days.
SU’s tournament opener marks its first-ever meeting with Southern. The Jaguars are on the heels of a 20-14 season, when they made the NCAA Tournament Second Round and fell to South Carolina.
Syracuse similarly finished its 2025-26 campaign in the NCAA Tournament Second Round against UConn. It was the second time the Orange made the tournament in three seasons.
SU has played Wisconsin once before, a 77-74 win in 2017, while it’s faced Auburn six times. Last year, the Orange defeated the Tigers 66-60 for the first time in team history. The Tigers lead the all-time series 5-1.
All three games will be held at the Guillermo Angulo Coliseum.
