Syracuse offensive lineman Denzel Ward medically disqualified due to lingering foot pain
Syracuse redshirt freshman offensive lineman Denzel Ward has been medically disqualified because of lingering foot pain, SU Athletics announced Thursday evening.
Ward never played in a game for the Orange and the disqualification also includes any other contact sport at Syracuse University. Ward’s condition requires surgery, according to the release.
About two weeks ago, SU sophomore quarterback AJ Long was medically disqualified due to multiple concussions.
