Syracuse (14-5, 5-1 Atlantic Coast) dominated Miami (9-9, 1-5), 73-53, for its fifth conference win. The Orange shot 14-of-30 from 3-point range and were led by 22 points from shooting guard Elijah Hughes. Freshman guard Buddy Boeheim had one of his best games of the season, scoring 12 points on 4-of-7 shooting.
