2026 athlete E’Shawn Sutton has committed to Syracuse football, 247Sports reported Friday. Sutton is a three-star recruit out of Winter Park, Florida, becoming SU’s fourth recruit from the Sunshine State in the 2026 class.

Sutton has played running back, safety and nickel corner throughout his high school career. He chose the Orange over offers from other Atlantic Coast Conference foes like Wake Forest, Pittsburgh and Georgia Tech.

He has an official visit to Syracuse scheduled for June 6 but will be on campus for SU’s spring practices on March 21 and 22, according to a post on his X account. The 6-foot-1, 190-pound recruit is the 14th overall commit in the 2026 class for the Orange, bolstering them to the fourth-best class in the ACC and 14th-best class in the nation.
