Three-star defensive linemen Walt Frazier has committed to Syracuse, he announced on social media Monday. The 6-foot-3, 285-pound Haverford, Pennsylvania native is SU’s 25th commit in its 2026 recruiting class, which now ranks No. 30 in the nation.
Frazier is ranked 21st in his class in Pennsylvania and is the 80th-best defensive lineman in the country, according to 247Sports. He chose the Orange over Kentucky, Cincinnati, Temple and Buffalo, among others.
Despite only playing in six games for The Haverford School last season, Frazier led the team in tackles (44) and tackles for loss (seven). He helped the Fords to a 7-3 record.
Frazier is the latest player from the northeast to commit to Syracuse. Since Fran Brown was hired in 2023, he has reestablished the Orange as a name brand in the region. Frazier is Syracuse’s sixth 2026 commit from Pennsylvania. There are also three players from New Jersey, Brown’s home state.
Frazier is the fourth rising senior defensive lineman to choose Syracuse. He joins four-star Jarius Rodgers and three-stars Kamron Wilson and Kordae Houston. According to 247Sports, he’s Syracuse’s fourth-highest recruit in the 2026 class.
