Syracuse men’s soccer released its 2025 schedule on social media Monday. The 16-game regular season slate features eight Atlantic Coast Conference games and SU’s first ACC matchups with Stanford, California and SMU.

After exhibition games against Marist, Mercyhurst and St. John’s, Syracuse will start its season against UConn on Aug. 21 at SU Soccer Stadium. From there, it has five straight nonconference contests against Loyola, Penn State, Yale, Duquesne and New Haven.

The Orange’s ACC slate begins against Stanford on Sept. 13, the squads’ first-ever meeting since the Cardinal joined the conference alongside Cal and SMU in 2024. Syracuse rounds out September with two more ACC games versus Duke and Cal and a nonconference matchup with Colgate, which it beat 1-0 last season.

SU completes its regular-season schedule with six more matches in October. It starts with home games against Boston College and SMU and then heads to Pittsburgh and Cornell. The slate is rounded out with contests with North Carolina and NC State. If the Orange qualify, they will then compete in the ACC Tournament from Nov. 6-17.

The Orange are coming off an underwhelming 7-7-3 season, where they blew a 1-0 second-half lead to Wake Forest in the first round of the ACC Tournament. They were ranked as high as No. 7 during the season but fell out of the rankings for the first time since 2022. SU will look to rebound in 2025 with seven of its nine leaders in points returning.
