Syracuse landed a commitment from 2026 running back Shavane Anderson, 247Sports reported Saturday. Anderson is a three-star recruit from York, PA, and the No. 48 player in the state.
The running back committed to the Orange during his weekend visit before SU’s home opener versus UConn. He chose Syracuse over offers from the Huskies, Kent State, Old Dominion and St. Francis.
Anderson becomes the 29th commit in SU’s 2026 class. He’s the second running back, joining D’Antae Sheffey, who is also from Pennsylvania. The Orange’s class ranks sixth in the Atlantic Coast Conference and 24th in the country.
