Syracuse goalkeeper Tomas Hut and attacker Landon Darko earned All-Atlantic Coast Conference honors, the conference announced Wednesday. Hut was named to the All-ACC Third Team, while Darko earned All-ACC Freshman Team honors.

In his graduate season with the Orange, Hut’s posted 69 saves while starting all of SU’s 18 games. He’s also tallied a career-high nine clean sheets while allowing just 0.88 goals per game.

His most recent performance was also his best, when he recorded a career-high nine saves to shut out then-No. 5 NC State. His efforts propelled the Orange to the ACC Championship Semifinal, where they’ll play SMU Thursday.

Darko quickly evolved into one of Syracuse’s premier options up top. The freshman from Fairburn, Georgia, has made just five starts, but appeared in every game thus far. Darko is tied for third on SU with eight points, having racked up three goals and two assists.

Like Hut, Darko’s shown up in some of Syracuse’s biggest moments thus far. After scoring his first career goal against Yale, he scored match-winning goals in ranked matchups against then-No. 25 SMU and then-No. 22 UNC.
