Former Oregon forward Sarah Rambus committed to Syracuse on Monday, marking SU’s first transfer portal addition of the offseason. On3 and 247Sports were first to report the news following Rambus’ visit to Syracuse this weekend.

Rambus averaged 6.3 points and 2.4 rebounds in 14.2 minutes per game last year with the Ducks. She has one year of eligibility remaining.

A Flint, Michigan, native, Rambus began her career with the Ducks in 2023-24. She was ranked No. 66 overall in the 2022 class out of high school and was a four-star recruit, per ESPN. She completed her high school career at IMG Academy (Florida).

When Rambus joined Oregon, it was fresh off a 20-15 campaign that ended in an NIT bid. The forward averaged 4.6 points a contest across her three seasons, starting 17 games in 2025-26 and scoring a career-high 20 points against Penn State on Jan. 24.

Rambus is a much-needed addition to the Orange after seven of their players have entered the portal. Guard Sophie Burrows committed to North Carolina on Saturday, and guard Camdyn Nelson joined Northwestern Sunday.

SU will also be losing Jasmyn Cooper, Aurora Almón and Justus Fitzgerald in its frontcourt.
