Seven Syracuse women’s lacrosse players were named to All-Atlantic Coast Conference teams, the conference announced Tuesday. Attack Molly Guzik and goalie Daniella Guyette were named to the First Team. Attack Caroline Trinkaus, midfielder Emma Muchnick and defenders Izzy Lahah and Coco Vandiver secured Second Team honors. Defender Kaci Benoit also placed on the Third Team.

Guzik has scored a team-high 37 goals in an increased role after coming off the bench last season. She currently leads the Orange by 13 goals — ranking top 10 in the ACC — and exploded for a sock trick while upsetting then-No. 4 Northwestern.

Regy Thorpe likes to call his defense SU’s backbone, and Guyette leads that charge. Her 7.02 goals against average and 48.6% save rate are both second-best in the conference. There were times when she was a liability last year, but she’s been far from that in 2026.

Behind Guzik, there hasn’t been a more consistent Syracuse scorer than Trinkaus, who’s notched 24 goals and ended the Orange’s longest game in program history against Notre Dame. While Muchnick made the conference’s top team last year, she’s adapted to a different role this year but has still nabbed 16 goals, third-most on SU. She was also drafted into the Women’s Lacrosse League last week.

The backline supporting Guyette has been as sturdy as can be. Lahah — a former midfielder and scout team player — broke out and evolved into the ACC’s second-ranked defender in ground balls (44) and caused turnovers (43). Vandiver, another WLL draftee, has also reached 40 caused turnovers and broke Syracuse’s all-time record in the category. Benoit has been a three-year starter and has eclipsed 20 ground balls this campaign.
