Syracuse women’s rowing remained at No. 10 in the Week 9 Pocock Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association Poll, which was released Tuesday. It’s SU’s fourth straight week at No. 10 after not competing since the Wolverine Double Dual on April 25.

The top 19 teams in the rankings remained unchanged from last week’s poll, while seven Atlantic Coast Conference teams were in this week’s top 25. Stanford slotted in at No. 2, Cal at No. 6, Virginia at No. 8, Duke at No. 14, Miami at No. 15 and North Carolina at No. 23.

The Orange are currently the fourth-best team in the ACC, trailing just Stanford, Cal and Virginia. Syracuse couldn’t keep up with UVA earlier in the season at the Doc Hosea Invitational, struggling in both the varsity 4 and 8 races.

SU has another weekend to prepare before battling in the ACC Championships from May 15-16 in Raleigh, North Carolina. Twelve members are participating in the regatta, including the seven teams in this week’s poll.
