Quad-A-Palooza
Following the cancellation of University Union’s annual fall concert, Juice Jam, UU will be hosting its inaugural Quad-A-Palooza instead. The celebration will feature live performances from student bands and DJs, local food vendors and carnival-themed games.
When: Friday, 3 to 7 p.m.

Dan + Shay: The Young Tour
Country music duo Dan Smyers and Shay Mooney, also known as Dan + Shay, will be making their Syracuse stop of The Young Tour Friday. Formed in Nashville, Tennessee, in 2012, the duo has released six albums and won three Grammy Awards. Most recently, Dan + Shay won the Grammy Award for Best Country Duo/Group Performance for their song “10,000 Hours” featuring Justin Bieber in 2021.

Clark Reservation State Park Day Hike
About 15 minutes from Syracuse University’s campus, Clark Reservation State Park in Jamesville offers scenic views and vast hiking trails. With about five miles of trails, this hike is perfect for hikers of all experience levels. Additionally, the park also features a rare meromictic lake, where hikers can view the different types of colors in the lake.
When: Saturday, 1 to 4 p.m.

Cornhole Tournament
Soak up the last few weeks of sunshine with a cornhole tournament, hosted by the Barnes Center at The Arch. Grab a friend and compete among other students and SU faculty. If cornhole isn’t your forte, check out the Spikeball Tournament, which will also be held at the same time at the Shaw Quadrangle. Register here before Wednesday at 4 p.m.

Dermot Kennedy: The Weight of the Woods Tour
Folk and hip-hop musician Dermot Kennedy will be making a stop in Syracuse for his The Weight of the Woods Tour. The tour is in honor of his third album, “The Weight of the Woods,” which was released in April. Hailing from Dublin, Ireland, it debuted at No. 1 on the UK Albums chart.
