University Union to host actress Victoria Justice for Latine Heritage Month

Actor and singer Victoria Justice will visit Syracuse University for “A Conversation with Victoria Justice” in Goldstein Auditorium on Oct. 7, University Union announced Tuesday.
The conversation is a part of SU’s Latine Heritage Month celebration and is being held in conjunction with the Office of Belonging and Student Success. The conversation will be moderated by SU junior Dannessa Olivo.
The conversation will cover Justice’s Latina identity, her entertainment career and philanthropic efforts bringing awareness to AIDS, HIV and bullying, a UU release said.
“We’re so excited to bring Latine representation to campus while also having the opportunity to bring such an iconic and nostalgic actress from our childhoods,” UU’s Performing Arts Director Leila Barszcz said in a release.
Justice is best known for starring on the Nickelodeon show “Victorious” as Tori Vega, as well as playing Lola Martinez on “Zoey 101.” Since her Nickelodeon days, Justice has hosted the virtual 2020 Kids’ Choice Awards, played Janet Weiss in FOX’s “Rocky Horror Picture Show” and released original music like her single “Love Zombie.”
Tickets are $3 for SU and SUNY ESF students and $12 for the general public. Tickets will remain on sale until 7 p.m. on Oct. 7.
