Syracuse defensive lineman Kevin Jobity Jr. has declared for the 2026 NFL Draft, he announced via Instagram Friday. Last season, Jobity Jr. led the Orange with five sacks, three of which came in a single game.

Hailing from Buffalo, New York, Jobity Jr. is the son of a former professional basketball player. He initially followed his father’s path before turning to football in 2021 and becoming an All-State defensive lineman. He earned playing time quickly as a freshman with the Orange, appearing in the final eight games of the 2022 season.

In Dino Babers’ final year at the helm in 2023, Jobity Jr. played in all 13 games while recording 2.5 sacks. He became a starter under new head coach Fran Brown. Jobity Jr. recorded 2.5 tackles for loss through the first five games before a season-ending injury.

He returned to SU in 2025, where he became its top pass rusher in a middling group. Jobity Jr. recorded three sacks against Pitt to help Syracuse to seven total on the night. He earned ACC Defensive Lineman of the Week honors after the performance. His five total sacks led the squad and were two more than Jamie Tremble, who placed second with three.

Jobity Jr. is the fifth Syracuse player to officially declare for the NFL Draft, joining Jack Stonehouse, Duce Chestnut, Da’Metrius Weatherspoon and Dion “Tank” Wilson. Tight end Dan Villari is also expected to declare, but has yet to make a formal announcement.
